Of course with all skincare, I start with cleansing. In the evening, I double cleanse. I like double cleansing because I can gently remove my makeup and cleanse my face of any left over dirt and sebum. I start cleansing with the Real Nature Calming Cleansing Oil by The Face Shop.

I love this cleansing oil because it gently removes my makeup and all of the dirt on my face. It also smells like lavender, calming me down before I go to sleep. Again, because this is a The Face Shop product, the only way I know of to get this reliably is to go into the store.

After my first cleanse, I use a gel cleanser to remove any extra dirt and makeup. I use Juice Beauty’s Green Apple Brightening Gel Cleanser.

I like this cleanser because, not only is it vegan and cruelty free, but it is very gentle on my face. I have slightly sensitive skin, but it does not bother me because the fruit enzymes in this cleanser are quite gentle. The double cleansing process makes sure that your face is clean, but also hydrated and nourished.

After cleansing, I use the Mamonde Rose Water Toner. This toner not only smells good, but is also very hydrating to my skin.

After toner, I use a retinol serum. I use this because it helps reduce acne and prevents aging. Although I’m only 17, I use a retinol to nourish and replenish my skin. The retinol that I use is Sunday Riley’s A+ High Dose Retinol Serum.

I like this serum because you don’t need a lot. With 6.5% retinol, this serum is very strong, so a little goes a long way. This has helped my skin become more radiant and clear. It should also help prevent aging later in my life.

Onto one of the final steps of my evening skincare, I moisturize with The Face Shop’s Calendula Essential Moisture Emulsion. Once again, this is a Face Shop product, therefore the best way to get it is in store.

This lightweight lotion moisturizes my face and soothes my skin. This isn’t the end of my moisturizing, because afterwards I use the Acure Seriously Soothing Blue Tansy Night Oil.

This moisturizes the skin in a thin layer of blue tansy and rose oil. I absolutely love it. When I wake up in the morning, there is no oily layer and my skin feels very soft and moisturized.

Of course, you should never forget about your lips. The very last part of my routine is applying the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask.

Lots of Love,

Meghan ❤
